The time spent in performing Well Child Check-Ups provides parents with important reassurance about the health and development of their child, and allows us to get to thoroughly know you and your child as well as provide any necessary medical guidance and answer any questions you may have about your child’s health care issues or protocols.

During a routine check-up Dr. Ramirez-Cepeda will perform a sensory screening, a behavioral assessment as well as conduct any planned procedures such as immunizations and other age appropriate screenings and tests.

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends the following intervals
for routine check-ups. Thereafter, once every year for an annual health monitoring visit that will include a physical exam as well as developmental, behavioral,
and learning assessments.
